The highly anticipated list of "The World's 100 Best Clubs"  will be announced once more by the International Nightlife Association during the 5th edition of the Golden Moon Awards Gala which will take place in Bogotá on November 13. This prestigious annual ranking is produced by combining 30% of the public votes and 70% of the professional jury, that is made up of 7 experts in the industry from different countries. The jury will take into consideration aspects such as DJ line-up, security measures, VIP services, possibility and ease of making online reservations, national or international awards received, acoustic quality, decoration, comfort, quality of service, soundproofing and commitment to the enviornment, among other aspects.  Besides releasing the list of "The World's 100 Best Clubs" 2019, at the same award ceremony the Golden Moon Award 2019 for Best Nightlife Business Group, Best Nightlife Executive, Best Action in Defense of Nightlife, Best in Technology and Nightlife and Best Awareness Raising Campaign will be given. Last but not least, the Golden Moon Award for "The World's Best Club 2019" will be also handed out. In last year's edition, also held in Bogotá, Hï Ibiza was proclaimed "The World's Best Club 2018"
                                                                            
Previous to the Golden Moon Awards, for sixth consecutive edition, the International Nightlife Congress  will take place. Both events will be held together with the ExpoBar Fair, Colombia’s most important nightlife event. The Congress will start off by discussing the "Nightclub of the Future" followed by the panel "Gastronomy and Nightlife"The Nightclub of the Future The first conference under the heading, "The Nightclub of the Future” will discuss the future of nightclubs and nightlife venues when it comes to implementing new technologies such as holograms, live streaming and DJ bookings.  For his part, Mr. Rick Alfaro, Director of Earthnauts, will speak about the all the new technology apicable to nightlife venues such as holograms and 3-D technology.  Additionally, Mr. David López, Assistant Director of the Costa Este Nightlife Group, will discuss the importance on online DJ live streaming.  Gastronomy and Nightlife In the second block of conferences, which will be presented under the title of "Gastronomy and Nightlife", will include the participation of Mr. Joaquim Boadas, Secretary General of the International Nightlife Association, which will present the international excellence distinction called "GASTROMOON" that fuses haute gastronomy and nightlife. 
 
In the same conference will participate Mr. Ragnar Fridriksson, General Manager of the World Association of Chefs Societies. 6th International Nightlife Congress

Bogotá will host the 6th International Nightlife Congress, 5th Golden Moon Awards and 6th ExpoBAR Fair on November 13th On said date, the list of "The World's 100 Best Clubs" 2019 will be released. These events will be held at Theatron, Gold Member venue of the International Nightlife Association

We are pleased to announce that for the second year in a row the city of Bogotá (Colombia) will host the 6th International Nightlife Congress and the 5th Golden Moon Awards on November 13th, together with the 6th Colombia’s ExpoBar Fair, organized by the Colombian Nightlife Association, Asobares.  ExpoBar is Colombia’s most important nighttime entertainment event with more than 3.000 attendees including representatives of the industry, staff, authorities and sponsors creating a forum where key issues are discussed and possible solutions are provided relating to Colombia's nightlife industry. The chosen venue for said events is Theatron Bogotá, who recently became a Gold Member of the International Nightlife Association.  As you may know, the INA holds an annual international congress and awards ceremony and has decided to celebrate this year’s edition once again jointly with Asobares and the 6th edition of the ExpoBar Fair. During the evening of November 13th , the International Nightlife Association will host the 5th Golden Moon Awards where among other awards, the list of “The World’s 100 Best Clubs 2019” will be released. The World's Best Club position is currently occupied by Hï Ibiza.  Asobares' president, Mr. Camilo Ospina Guzmán stated today, "We are very happy that the most important nightlife fair in Colombia comes together again with the most important nightlife congress in the world to hold a big event that will have a notable influence on nightlife all over the world". 2nd International Nightlife Congress & 1st International Nightlife Awards, the Golden Moon Awards - October 7th and 8th 2015, Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza

After many months of hard work, we can finally announce that next 7th and 8th October will be held at the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza the 2nd International Nightlife Congress and the 1st International Nightlife Awards, the Golden Moon Awards ceremony.

The different speeches that will be given during the International Nightlife Congress, will be about noise pollution, security, alcohol (October 7th) and taxes (October 8th morning), all of them with the participation of worldwide known speakers.

At the Golden Moon Awards’ ceremony that will take place on October 8th at night, also at the Hard Rock Hotel in Ibiza, the list of “The 100 world’s best clubs” will be announced, and among them, “The world's Best Club”.

Up to now, there are more than 100 people registered for the events so, taking into account that we have to reserve 100 seats more for the representatives of the 100 world’s best clubs that are going to be announced that night, we only have about 350 seats left. The registration applications received will be attended by strict order of reception.

Fifteen top notch speakers from the nightlife industry will lead the conferences of the 2nd International Nightlife Congress that will take place on October 7th and 8th at the Hard Rock Hotel in Ibiza. More than 500 people from different countries will be attending the event that will raise a dialogue on how to enhance the industry as well as sharing their vision and experiences.

The first part of the congress will revolve around noise pollution. The founder of the New York City Hospitality Alliance and ex-president of the New York Nightlife Association, Paul Seres, the president of the National Association of the Bar, Club and Show Industry of Mexico (ANIDICE) and 3rd vice-president of the International Nightlife Association of Latin America, Ismael Rivera, along with the general director of the Audiotec Group, Ana Espinel and the sound director of CESVA, Marçal Serra, will be taking part.

The second block concentrated in the first day of talks will point at a controversial topic: alcohol. The general director of Spirits EUROPE, Paul Skehan, the general director of the Spanish Institute for Quality Tourism, Fernando Fraile, the president of the Responsible Institute of North America, Jim Peters, and the CEO of HOTREC, Christian de Barri, will lead the presentations and debates.

The third round of speeches on October 7th will cover a topic as critical as security, where proposals of security improvement in establishments will be debated. The security distinctive awarded under the “Secure Nightlife Venue” seal will be presented, which will distinguish the most secure venues.  In this epigraph, the head of the Affiliated Member program of the World Tourism Organization (UNTWO) Yolanda Perdomo, the COO of the ICDQ Group, Miquel Picas, the Chief of the New York Fire Department, Robert Keys and the Detective Sargent of the New York Police Department, Jerry Kane will take part of the talks.

The last block of talks will take place in the morning of October 8th and will deal with the taxing system that affects the industry on an international level. This topic will be presented by the Deputy Assistant Director of VAT at the Spanish Finance Ministry, Ricardo Álvarez, the primary associate of the tax department of Garrigues, Santiago Janer, the Senior Partner of the tax department of Garrigues Brussels, Salvador Pastoriza, the president of the Italian Nightlife Association and the European Nightlife Association, Maurizio Pasca, and the president of the American Association of Nightlife and first vice-president of the International Nightlife Association, Juan Carlos Diaz.

First Golden Moon Awards

It will be the first time that the nightlife industry celebrates an international award ceremony. The gala will be presenting the hundred best clubs in the world, chosen by professional voting and will reveal, among them, 2015’s “Best Club in the World”. The “Golden Moons” will also award categories such as “Best Nightlife Business Development”, “Best Nightlife Company”, “Best Government Supporting Nightlife”, “Best Campaign for Nightlife Awareness” and “Best Security Action”. During the ceremony, there will also be special mentions in subcategories for the clubs with best VIP sections, best sound systems, best customer service, best medical attention, best marketing strategy, best franchise, the most historical club and, finally, the most original club.
