Hï Ibiza has been proclaimed The World’s 100 Best Club 2023 for the fourth consecutive edition during the Gala of the Golden Moon Awards that was held at the Sofitel Barcelona Skipper Hotel in Barcelona Spain. Spain and the USA have prevailed one more year at the gala held tonight in a list that has been accessed by nightlife venues from up to 30 countries. The second place is occupied by Omnia Las Vegas and the third position has been awarded to Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel in a list made up of a total of 100 venues.
Among them, Spain has been the country that has managed to place the most venues on the list with 27 establishments, followed by the United States with 20 venues, United Kingdom with 6 clubs, and Colombia and Italy with 4.
The journalists Marc Cornet and Maria Moya were in charge of presenting this gala which was held within the framework of the 9th Edition of the International Nightlife Congress and the 4th Edition of the Spanish Nightlife Congress. Different nightlife representatives and entrepreneurs from the five continents and Presidents of different nightlife and gastronomy associations worldwide have attended.
The list of The World's 100 Best Clubs 2023 was selected from a total of 373 nominated venues from 65 different countries. The online popular vote accounted for 50% of the final vote, while the other 50% was determined by a jury of industry experts who evaluated the evolution of the venues this year, based on criteria such as music programming, safety, acoustics and quality of service, among other factors.

Awards for excellence in the nightlife sector
As for the rest of the Golden Moon Awards, Club La Feria, from Chile, received the award for the World’s Most Sustainable Venue, while the Spanish project Audiotec has received the award for the World’s Best Innovative Nightlife Project. French DJ and producer David Guetta has received the award for World’s Best DJ, while the Barcelona City Council and the Generalitat de Catalunya has received the award for World’s Best Collaborative Project in Nightlife Security for the joint action carried out on the Barceloneta seafront, the busiest nightlife area in Europe. The Bresh party received the award in the category of World’s Best Event of 2023, while the award for World’s Best Festival went to Tomorrowland, which welcomes around 400,000 people every year. The award for World’s Best Act of Excellence and Protection of Customers and Workers went to the Sutton Barcelona Club and World’s Best Nightlife Business Group went to TAO Group, from the United States. The Golden Moon Award for World’s Breakthrough Artist went to Dutch DJ Chelina Manuhutu.
The 9th Edition of the International Nightlife Congress, the 4th Edition of the Spanish Nightlife Congress and the Golden Moon Awards Gala have been organized by the International Nightlife Association, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, Ajuntament de Barcelona, Generalitat de Catalunya, Consell Insular d'Eivissa, Asobares Colombia, Appleton University, Gremi de Restauració de Barcelona, Bye Bye Plastic Foundation, Ajuntament de Sant Josep de Sa Talaia, Ajuntament de Sant Antoni de Portmany, the World Association of Chefs Societies and the City Council of La Nucía.
