As you may know, the International Nightlife Association (INA) is making a comeback with the 8th International Nightlife Congress and 7th Golden Moon Awards Gala in Tenerife, Spain. The event will gather nightlife representatives, staff, officials, and sponsors from around the world, creating a forum to assess the sector’s recovery and challenges to make the nightlife industry stronger than ever before. The chosen venue for said events is the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife.
As a novelty, this 8th edition of the International Nightlife Congress will be held together with the 3rd Spanish Nightlife Congress and the 2nd Canary Leisure Congress, all organized by the International Nightlife Association, Spain Nightlife, and the Business Circle of the South of Tenerife (CEST).
The congresses will feature presentations and round tables in which representatives of public administrations, business associations, those responsible for large companies, SMEs, and the self-employed in the nightlife sector will be able to contribute different perspectives with the main objective of the search for excellence. In addition, it is proposed as a networking space in which economic actors can generate relationships both within the sector and between this and other economic areas.
During the evening of November 30, the INA will host the 7th Golden Moon Awards Gala where among other awards, the list of The World’s 100 Best Clubs 2022 will be released.
According to Mr. Joaquim Boadas, Secretary General of the INA, “We are proud to re-launch our annual event after the hardships endured these past two years due to the pandemic. The nightlife industry as one of the hardest-hit needs the opportunity to come together and become stronger than ever. We would like to appeal to the leading nightlife businesses worldwide to take part in these events and pave the way for the sector’s future.Omnia Las Vegas voted World's Best Club 2016 by the International Nightlife Association

Nightlife experts will gather in Las Vegas next October 26th for 3rd International Nightlife Congress
Delegates from Europe, America to Asia will attend the 3rd International Nightlife Congress at the World Market Center on October 26th in Las Vegas, NV, USA. Help celebrate our mission to protect and support the positive social, economic, and cultural contributions of the nightlife industry” stated J.C. Diaz, 1st Vice President of the International Nightlife Association (INA).
Our nightlife industry is under constant threat. From being soft targets for terrorism and increasing violence, blaming patron drug abuse on venues/ promoters, banning or placing moratoriums on EDM-related events, new housing built close to existing venues without soundproofing, strict licensing laws, and costly operating requirements – have all played a role in eroding our nightlife.
The first part of the congress will revolve around the Nightlife & Development of nightlife districts that attract people to keep going out. The discussion will be led by Jim Peters, President of the Responsible Hospitality Institute; Jocelyn Kane, Executive Director of the San Francisco Entertainment Commission; and Elizabeth Peterson of the Elizabeth Peterson Group. Maurizio Pasca, President of the European Nightlife Association and President of SILB (Italy); Paul Seres, Managing Member of the New York City Hospitality Alliance; Chris ‘Sarge’ Curtis, Founder of the Downtown Rangers of Las Vegas DowntownProject.com, will be taking part on Nightlife & Quality of Life.

Secretary, Amend The Rave Act. and Producer & Director, of MDMA The Movie.
The Nightlife & Operations panel will be joined by Cy Waits, a famous Nightlife Impresario; Roberto Coppola, Director Market Research & Consumer Insights, at YWS Design & Architecture; and Andrew Walsh, Captain at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The last session of talks will deal with the safety and security issues that are affecting the industry on an international level. This topic will be presented by Robert Smith, President of Nightclub Security Consultants; Doug Haines, Security Consultant representing the Security Industry Association; and United States Marshall of Nevada, Christopher Hoye.
“The International Nightlife Association tries to confront the principal problems of the sector to find entertainment places safer for everybody, without detracting the magnitude of this industry on the economy. The last year in Ibiza the congress was a success and we are sure that this year in Las Vegas we will surpass our expectations” said Abel Matutes Prats, President of the International Nightlife Association.
2nd GOLDEN MOON AWARDS
This year’s conference in Las Vegas will also include the announcement of the 2nd International Golden Moon Awards winners. The aim is to become an International Nightlife Awards benchmark chosen by a panel of industry professionals.
